Sliding & Bypass Doors
Sliding & Bypass Doors
Sliding and bypass glass doors — including modern barn-door styles — for showers and tubs where a swing door won’t fit.
- Space-saving — no swing clearance needed
- Modern barn-door and bypass styles
- Smooth, soft-close rollers
- Ideal for tub-to-shower openings
When a swing door won’t work
In a tight bathroom or over a tub, a door that swings out isn’t practical. Sliding and bypass doors run on a track instead, so they need no clearance — and modern barn-door hardware gives that same setup a genuinely upscale look. We fit them to tub openings and wide showers with smooth, soft-close rollers that won’t rattle or jump the track.
Styles and cost
From classic bypass to single-panel barn doors, we size the glass and hardware to your opening and finish. Sliding systems are cost-effective and quick to install, and we’ll steer you to the layout that actually fits your space rather than the priciest one.

Sliding & Bypass Doors questions
How much does a frameless shower door cost in Nashville?
Most frameless shower doors run about $900–$2,500 or more installed in the Nashville area. The price is driven by the size of the opening, the glass thickness (3/8" vs 1/2") and the hardware finish. We give you one exact, all-inclusive quote after measuring — no surprises at install.
What is the difference between frameless and semi-frameless shower doors?
Frameless doors use thick tempered glass with only minimal hardware and no surrounding frame, for the cleanest, most open look. Semi-frameless doors add a slim frame around the outer edges, which costs less and hides small tile imperfections. Both use safety glass and a custom measure; frameless is the premium option, semi-frameless the value one.
How long does it take to get a custom shower door installed?
Because the glass is cut to your exact opening, expect roughly one to three weeks from the measurement to the install while the glass is fabricated. The installation itself usually takes just a few hours. We measure, order and install — you don’t coordinate anything.
Can you convert my tub into a walk-in glass shower?
Yes — tub-to-shower conversions are one of our most popular projects. Once the shower base and tile are ready, we measure and build a custom glass enclosure to fit, whether that’s a single panel, a corner or a neo-angle. We can advise on the glass layout that works best for your bathroom.
Do you repair shower doors or only replace them?
We do both. Leaks, worn sweeps, failed seals and dragging or off-track doors are often quick, inexpensive repairs, and we’ll fix what’s worth fixing. When a dated framed enclosure is better replaced with frameless glass, we’ll tell you honestly and handle the swap and haul-away.
Do you install shower doors near me?
We install custom shower doors and glass across Nashville and Middle Tennessee — Franklin, Brentwood, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Murfreesboro, Gallatin, Smyrna, Spring Hill, Nolensville and the surrounding towns. Include your address with your quote request and we’ll confirm.
